Flagler's Magic City Casino is expected to open in October. The $54M facility, which is nearly complete, will include 700 slots. The Miami Herald reported last week that the first shipment of machines has arrived and workers are finishing construction.
Elsewhere in Miami-Dade County, Calder Race Course is building an $85M casino, which is expected to open in January in time for the Super Bowl.
